THE ARKS OF GOD
THE ARKS OF GOD
In
the time of old, the ark of God represents the presence of God. So whenever the
Israelites go to war and the ark of God was present with them, even their
enemies would know that their God was with them and victory was certain. The ark of God
carries the presence of God.
“6 Hearing the uproar, the Philistines asked, "What's all this shouting in the Hebrew camp?" When they learned that the ark of the LORD had come into the camp, 7 the Philistines were afraid. "A god has come into the camp," they said. "We're in trouble! Nothing like this has happened before. 8 Woe to us! Who will deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods? They are the gods who struck the Egyptians with all kinds of plagues in the desert. 1 Sam 4:5-8 NIV
But
in this dispensation, believers are the ARKS OF GOD, because we carry the
presence of God everywhere we go. We are the temple of God and God reside in
us.
“Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple
and that God's Spirit lives in you? 17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God
will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple.” 1 Cor
3:16-17 NIV
The
Spirit of God is forever dwelling in us, so wherever we are present, we are
sure that God is with us. We are MOBILE ALTARS unto the Lord. Altars not made
with hands or any earthly tool but by the finished work of Christ.
Because
we are the arks of God and the presence of God dwells in us, wherever we go,
two things are bound to happen:
·
EVERY
DAGON MUST FALL
1 “After the Philistines had captured the ark of God,
they took it from Ebenezer to Ashdod. 2 Then they carried the ark
into Dagon's temple and set it beside Dagon. 3 When the people of
Ashdod rose early the next day, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the
ground before the ark of the LORD! They took Dagon and put him back in his
place. 4 But the following morning when they rose, there was Dagon,
fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the LORD! His head and hands
had been broken off and were lying on the threshold; only his body remained.’ 1
Sam 5:1-4 NIV
When
the ark of God was brought to the house of dagon, dagon fell down before the ark of
God and broke to piece. Light and darkness cannot reside together, the power of
darkness have to bow down to the Light. Darkness can never overcome Light.
So,
wherever we go, the powers of darkness must bow to us because we carry God
inside of us who is greater than the world.
“You
are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you
is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4 NKJV
·
EVERY
OBEDEDOM MUST PROSPER
“10
So David would not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of
David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.11
And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three
months: and the LORD blessed Obed-edom, and all his household.” 2 Sam 6:10-11 KJV
The
ark of convenant brought prosperity unto obededom. God blessed him. As carriers
of God’s presence, wherever we are present, we bring comfort to those that
morn, prosperity and wealth to the poor, life to the dead, healing to the sick,
peace to the troubled, joy to the sorrowful etc.
When
Jesus came to the house of Jarius, the daughter being sick to the point of
death came back to life. Sorrow turned to joy. (Mk. 5:21-43)
When
the prophet came to the poor widow, she became rich and all her dept was paid
(2 kings 4:1-7)
Are
you a child of God, start walking in the revelation of being a God’s carrier that you
are, and from today, wherever you go,
every dagon will fall and every obededom will prosper in Jesus name.
………………GOD
BLESS YOU
