DEATH BEFORE FRUITFULNESS

DEATH BEFORE FRUITFULNESS

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit." John 12:24 KJV

Do you know a seed remain single before it is planted. It abides in isolation. But when it is planted, first, it dies, then starts to germinate, then grows into a tree which then bears fruits. I am very sure you desire to be fruitful, you desire to be someone people look up to, you desire to be a blessing unto nations, you desire to be  father or mother unto many nations, you desire to have followers and even spiritual children, but no matter what you do, except you die first, it is difficult to have such fruits.

Just like the corn of wheat have to fall to the ground and die, you have to be humbled and you have to be dead to SELF. 'Falling to the ground' means you have to be humbled, 'Dying means dying to SELF. You have to die to your SELF WIL, your EGO, your PRIDE, your fleshy desires, all that make up YOU have to die completely. You have to be completely dead to the works of the flesh. I want you to take a moment an think about this, "DO YOU THINK JESUS WENT THROUGH HUMILIATION AND PAIN SO THAT A MAN WOULD ADVERTISE OR GLORIFY HIMSELF?"

" Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:2 KJV

For Jesus to be glorified, for Him to be the saviour of the world, for Him to be given a name that is above every other name, that at the mention of that name, demons flee, mountains move, for Jesus to the exalted and set down at the right hand of the throne of God, He had to die. He ignored the shame, he suffered humiliation and affliction so He could be glorified. He left is GODHOOD and came in the form of mortal men that He created, to die in their hands. If Jesus had to die in order to be glorified, how much more you.

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20 KJV

When you are dead to sin and flesh, crucified with Christ, and resurrected with Him unto righteousness, then it is not you that lives anymore but it is Christ that lives in you. Just like Jesus came in a body over two thousand years ago, He is now here in your body, using your body to the glory of God. So you have to completely submit to His will and to His word. You aim and desire must be to glorify the Father. When you fulfil these, then you'll begin to swim in the glory of God, you'll begin to bear fruits unto Him, then you'll become entrusted with the divine treasury because you are not influenced by the things of this world anymore but YOU ARE CONSTANTLY LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD.

                   ........GOD BLESS YOU
