WHO IS YOUR FATHER?

 WHO IS YOUR FATHER? 
 (JOHN 8 : 42 - 44)

From the passage above, Jesus pointed out that there are two fathers, God and devil. So where do you belong?

Who then are the children of God?I John 4:17 gives us a perfect answer, "........as He is, so are we in this world"

i.e Children of God on earth are exactly the way he is.

Then how is He?

1. From I John 1:5,"......God is light, and in him is no darkness AT ALL"

If no spot of darkness can be found in God, then none should be found in his children. No sin either normal (as some will say) or "abnormal" must be found.

Matthew 5:48  "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect"

2. 1 John 4:7-8  "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; FOR GOD IS LOVE"

and many more......

If we so called "Children of God" still struggle to be like God, then we have to "return to the throne of grace to obtain mercy".
