THE DIVIDED HOUSE

Mark 3:24-25,  "And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand"

One of the things that prevents the manifestation of the power of God in a christian gathering is disunity. A gathering where there is Competition, hatred, disunity, strife, malice and unforgiveness.

In Act 2:1, the disciples were all gathered in one place with one accord/agreement/will, the oneness of their heart allowed the free flow of the Holyspirit.

Ecclesiastes 4:9, 12  "Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken"

A divided house will easily be prevailed upon, because of the loopholes in it, just as the crack on the wall givens room for the lizards and gecko, division gives room for the enemy to penetrate into church, and it is easy for the enemy to devour the church.

John 14:30  "Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me". The prince of this world (the devil) is always warring against anything godly, but when he shall come against the church, will he find things that are his (the work of the flesh Gal 5:19,20) in the church?   

A house that is united has nothing of the devil in it,  therefore the devil has no claim over it. 

In order for a gathering to experience the fullness of God's signs and wonders, in order to enjoy answered prayers, the church must be united so the environment can be conducive for the Holyspirit to manifest His power.

Prayer point: Father, please destroy the works of flesh in your church and reconcile us back to you.
