SNARES OF THE WICKED

“The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor; Let them be caught in the plots which they have devised.” Ps 10:2 NKJV

“Let the wicked fall into their own nets, While I escape safely.”  Ps 141:10 NKJV

There are many ways God delivers His children from the snares of the wicked (the nets or traps the enemies prepared for the children of God), but one of the outstanding ways is making the enemies get caught up in the snares (traps or plots) they have prepared for God’s children.

“And the king gave the command, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions — them, their children, and their wives; and the lions overpowered them, and broke all their bones in pieces before they ever came to the bottom of the den.” Dan 6:24 NKJV

The enemies of Daniel made the den of lions a snare unto him. Because of his faithfulness to his God, the enemy took counsel together to cast him into the den of lions.

But when the God of Daniel would rise, he shut the mouth of the lions to save Daniel, then the enemies of Daniel that took counsel against him were cast into the same den of lions they intended for Daniel, they were crushed to the bones even before they got to the bottom of the den.

WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE.

Another man God delivered from the snare of the wicked in like manner was Mordecai.

“⁹ Then Harbona, one of the eunuchs attending the king, said, "A gallows seventy-five feet high stands by Haman's house. He had it made for Mordecai, who spoke up to help the king." The king said, "Hang him on it!" ¹⁰ So they hanged Haman on the gallows he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king's fury subsided.”

Esther 7:9-10 NIV

Haman, being a man in a position of high authority prepared a gallows (a wooden framework used to put a person to death by hanging) for Mordecai, as suggested by his wife ‘Zeresh’ and his friends due to their indignation against Mordecai and the Jews.

But when God would arise, Haman was hanged in the same gallows he prepared for Mordecai. I pray for you, every enemy that has taken counsel together and prepared a snare for you, the Lord will arise on your behalf, and they will all be caught up in their snares in Jesus Name.

The Almighty God that was the Lord in the time of Daniel and Mordecai is still the same God now. No matter the counsel or plot they put together because of you, It shall not stand.

“Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing; Speak the word, but it will not stand, For God is with us." Isa 8:10 NKJV

When God arises for you, every of your enemies will be caught up in their snares and all their counsel will overturn upon their own head.

PRAYER POINT: Oh Lord, Let the wicked be caught up in the plots they have devised against me.
