THE DEVIL COMETH II
Having studied the various ways the devil seek opportunity into the lives of believers, in this part, we will look at the various possible things the devil does when he gain entrance into a believer's life. Few out of many includes;
-THE DEVIL STEALS AWAY THE WORD AND THE FAITH IT BRINGS
"Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them." Mark 4:15 NIV
The first target of the devil is to steal away those words of God we've heard or studied because we do not open our heart to the deep revelations in the word and do not allow the word to germinate and bear fruit in us.
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17 KJV
We grow in faith by hearing and studying the word of God, but when the devil comes in, he replaces the faith with fear and doubt making it impossible to receive from God.
"...because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord." James 1:6-7 NIV
So when the devil comes in, he robs such believer from every possible miracle that could be received from the word.
No wonder many attend ministrations yet their lives isn't transformed, this is because they are just carried away by the beauty of the wisdom in the word but they didn't allow the word to germinate and impact their lives.
-THE DEVIL SOWS EVIL SEEDS
"But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away." Matthew 13:25 NIV
Whenever the devil defeat a believer with his temptation, he gains access into the life of such believer and sow evil seeds. These evil seeds develop into satanic strongholds, programmings or systems that patterns the life unto destruction.
These leads to infirmities, hardship, distresses, pains, unforseen circumstances, etc.
These strongholds if not pulled out in warfare, is capable of making the life of a believer unproductive and being of no effect. Such life will just seem as if nothing is working, such believer work in circles, every effort always result to the starting point (stagnancy)
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 2 Corinthians 10:4 KJV
Every stronghold has to be pulled down in warfare in order to attain complete victory over them.
The devil has nothing to offer us, when he comes, he steals, kills and destroys.
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10 KJV
Do not give him any chance into your life, he will waste it and leave it destroyed.
Hold on to Jesus, he came to give us life abundantly, as you keep looking unto Jesus, everything in your life will receive life in Jesus Name.
