WHEN ALL HOPE SEEM LOST

WHEN ALL HOPE SEEM LOST

"The Egyptians—all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots, horsemen and troops—pursued the Israelites and overtook them as they camped by the sea near Pi Hahiroth, opposite Baal Zephon.  As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord" Exodus 14:9‭-‬10 NIV

When all hope seem lost, surely God will make a way. All hope seem to be lost for the children of Israel, they thought that was the end, the red sea in front of them, the wilderness and mountains on the left and right, Egyptians furiously pursuing with all their troops and chariots from behind. All hope seem to be lost, but God made a way for them, I pray for a reader of this devotional, no matter how hopeless that situation is, God will make a way for you.

"Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left." Exodus 14:21‭-‬22 NIV

God made a way for the children of Israel even where there is not supposed to be a way. God had to break natural laws governing the flow of the river in its direction and the force of gravity keep the ocean in its path. I pray you, God will break protocol to make a way for you.

"Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the Lord swept them into the sea. The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen—the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived" Exodus 14:27‭-‬28 NIV

The beauty of this story is the fact that the same path that brought salvation to the children of Israelite brought destruction to the Egyptians. Their pursuers perished before the eyes. What a marvellous God we serve. When the Israelite thought it was over, God arose for their sake, God will arise for you in Jesus name. Everyone that has vowed to see the end of you, if they refuse to repent, they shall be sacrificed for your lifting.

For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will not be disappointed [in his expectations].” ROMANS 10:11 AMP

Our duty is to put all our trust in God, to totally depend on him and we will not be put to shame. Our expectations shall never be cut short.

"... thine expectation shall not be cut off." Proverbs 23:18 KJV
