The letters of the word can be likened to codes that need to be unlocked so as to enable us have access to the power embedded in the word.
The power in the word can only be accessed through the revelation of the word by the spirit of God.
Have you wondered why many quote the scripture without any manifestation, that's because they lack the revelation (the 'Holyspirit-given' understanding) that connects one to the unlimited power in the word of God.
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." Joshua 1:8 KJV
The key to having access to the revelation of the word of God is meditation by the help of the Holy spirit. Through meditation of the word, our eyes become opened to divine secrets which brings about the manifestation of God's will for our lives which include prosperity and success in everything we lay our hands upon.
The more we meditate on the word of God, the more we gain access to more revelations, and the more the believe and obey these revelations, the more we become perfected by the Holy spirit until our lives becomes exactly as the word. Then, our lives begin to minister unto others, transforming people around us because our hearts have become fully filled by these revelations of the word as given by the Holy spirit.
"(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts ..." Romans 2:13-15 KJV
Merely reading or memorizing the letters of the word is not sufficient enough to give us access to the power in the word of God.
"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
John 8:31-32 KJV
The word of God gives freedom over sin, fear, afflictions and devices of the enemy, but the truth in the word can only be accessed by the revelation of the word of God as given by the Holy spirit. It is the Holy spirit that guides us into the truth in the word that will brings about the freedom that we desire.
"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." John 16:13 KJV
The revelation of the word is more or less likened to the 'honey in a rock', in which to have access to the honey, you must dig deep into the rock. Do more than read, memorize or even study, meditate on the word and seek the Holy spirit to open your eyes to these wonderful revelations, and the power embedded in the word will be at your disposal.
