VICTORY THROUGH PRAISE
"And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord , and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord ; for his mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten." 2 Chronicles 20:21-22 KJV
When the Moabites, Ammonites and the inhabitants of mount Seir (three great nations) came up together against children of Judah, in fear of these nations, King Jehoshaphat declared a fast all through the land and sought the face of the Lord, and the Lord promised them victory over their enemies even without them raising a hand against them.
In the next morning the people of Judah proceeded to the wilderness where they appointed singers and praised the name of the Lord and the beauty of His holiness. As they praised God, the Lord cast the spirit of confusion upon the multitude of the enemies before them and the enemies rose up against one another and smote one another until they were all destroyed with none escaping.
"But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel."
Psalms 22:3 KJV
Praise is a spiritual weapon that bring God into action. When we praise God, He arises and inhabit out praises. Our praise move God into action to reveal himself as God over every situation we find ourselves.
The children of Judah praised the name of the Lord and God arose and cause every one of their enemies to arise against one another to destroy one another completely. When the children of Judah got to where the enemies were, they met them all dead, so they took with them all the precious jewelries, riches and wealth of the enemies.
The Children of Judah were the underdogs, but by the power of praises, God turn things around for them and they became victorious. Indeed, the battle was the Lords.
What are you going through that seem to be a difficult situation, have your enemies rose up against you, have you been fighting secret battles that no one else knows about, why not raise your voice in praises to God, praise him with all your heart and might, praise him like never before, praise the beauty of his holiness and let him arise to your rescue.
"...Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's" 2 Chronicles 20:15 KJV
When you praise the name of the Lord, He arise and fight your battles for you. Render sacrifices of praise unto God and watch him cause your enemies destroy themselves before you.
