BEWARE OF LITTLE FOXES

BEWARE OF LITTLE FOXES

"Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom." Song of Songs 2:15 NIV

Little foxes are those little sins that we sometimes overlook. They consist of little anger, careless and idle talks, flashes of ungodly imaginations, the feeling of envy and strife towards others, lust, etc. These are foxes because they destroy the vineyard, they render a blooming vineyard desolate. There effects are slow and sometimes unnoticeable, but the result is destruction. When you refuse to catch the little foxes in your vineyard, they end up ruining the vineyard rendering it desolate.

"One day Samson went to Gaza, where he saw a prostitute. He went in to spend the night with her." Judges 16:1 NIV

Samson was a very powerful man ordained by God to deliver his people from the hands of the enemies, so mighty that he could destroy thousands of men with his bare hands, so mighty that he tore apart a full grown lion with his bare hands, but there was a little fox in his life, THE LUST FOR STRANGE WOMEN. Even when God instructed the Israelite not to have anything to do with strange women, yet Samson married one, he would visit brothel of prostitutes, he felt invisible and he could do anything he desires, , Samson's lust for strange women lead to the end of his reign and ultimately his life. Such a strong man fell to the trap of a strange woman. WHAT A PITY.

"He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, “Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?” Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank." Numbers 20:10‭-‬11 NIV

Moses was God's anointed saviour He promised to send to the Israelite when they were in the land of Egypt as captives for four hundred and thirty years, God performed mighty works through the hands of Moses, but there was also a little fox in the life of Moses, ANGER. Remember when an Egyptian bullied an Israelite before Moses, he anger, he slew the Egyptian, the same moses that has always been asking for mercy on behalf of the Israelite got frustrated by their impatience and lack of trust in God which made him spoke out of turn and disobeyed God's instruction, ultimately missing out on his purpose of getting to the promise land.

"Then Jesus replied, “Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!”  (He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to betray him.)" John 6:70‭-‬71 NIV

Judas, being among the disciples chosen by Jesus himself, but was referee to by Him, as a devil. Judas has always being a thief. His lust for money had built a stronghold in his heart. Remember the woman with the alabaster box of expensive perfume that broke the box to annoint the head of Jesus, research shows Judas was the disciple that queried the woman suggesting the perfume should've been sold and helped the poor, whereas, he was saying that out of personal gain and lust to enrich himself. This lust for money ended up the life of Judas and he died mysteriously.

Have you heard of so called ministers caught in sex scandals, fraudulent acts or other ungodly acts, its because they refused to deal with their little foxes, they were so careless or ignorant that there little foxes ruined their vineyard of righteousness and salvation. Whatever you have passion for or love above God will end up turning your heart away from God and if care is not take, might end up destroying such life. Catch all your little foxes now before its too late

                       .......GOD BLESS YOU
