THE MIXED BREEDS
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]." 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 AMP
When one is in Christ, he is a new creature, he has been reborn and renewed by the Holy spirit, he has been declared righteous i.e. having personal integrity and godly character. He has become a pure breed having been born of God himself.
A mixed breed represents a person that exhibits the attributes of both God and the devil. When a so called believer still allow the works of the flesh to overcome her, such is a mixed breed. A mixed breed is one who profess him/herself to be a believer but the old nature/adamic nature is still very much alive in him/her, leaving a double life, spiritual in the sanctuary but carnal outside the sanctuary.
What makes a believer a child of God is not because of his works but because of God's seed that is dwelling in us. Because we have truly been reborn unto holiness and godliness, so those attributes are just the evidence to show where we belong, but the strength lies in the nature of God that has been given to us through being born again.
"No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God." 1 John 3:9 NIV
Most times, a believer goes back to his vomit because he has ignore the transformation power of the word of God, the more we study, meditate and obey the word, the more we are renewed in the heart and transformed, then we become conscious of the victory over sin that has been given to us.
"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." Romans 6:14 KJV
Also ignoring the personal fellowship with God can lead to the revival of the old man. It is in our secret place with God that we draw strength to over come temptation. It is there we are subjected to daily pruning and purging off of carnality. When a believer forsake the source of his life, then he is opened up to failure.
"Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me." John 15:4 NIV
Have you ignored or forsaken your first Love? were you once in Christ but now dines and wines with the devil? are you a believer but is entangled or struggling with secret sins? are you a mixed breed? why not confess your sins and allow Jesus to deliver your completely from the power of sin and lust. Heaven is real, hell is real, time is running out.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 NIV
