IN THE BELLY OF A FISH?
IN THE BELLY OF A FISH?
"Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights." Jonah 1:17 KJV
Jonah found himself in the belly of the fish because he disobeyed God. Going back to the story of Jonah, we'll see that the Lord commanded him to go and preach the word to the people of Nineveh because of their wickedness and evil act, but Jonah, thinking they don't deserve to be saved from the impending doom prepared for all the wicked, thinking they were so wicked that they do not deserve a second chance, he took another path and went to Tarshish, but unfortunately ended up in the belly of a fish. Three days, he was there in the belly of the fish because of his disobedient.
"Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted." Psalms 107:17 KJV
Just like Jonah ended up in the belly of a fish due to his disobedient, there are many people that are in the problems they are in today, because of their wicked acts, many believers have been attacked and afflicted because they fell to the devil's temptation. Many have been cast into boundage due to sexual sins, many destinies have been emptied and wasted, many have become preys to what they are supposed to have dominion upon, because of disobedience to God's commandments. Many are reaping wickedness today because they have sown a seed of wickedness in the past. Many have disregarded God's counsel in choosing a spouse and have ended up in a wrong marriage.
"Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God out of the fish's belly, And the Lord spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land." Jonah 2:1, 10 KJV
Jonah did not give up, neither did he commit suicide, he cried unto God for mercy, he cried for help and the Lord command the fish to vomit out Jonah. Beloved, no matter what you have done in the past, God is merciful, His ears are eagerly waiting for your cry for mercy, the Lord never despises a cry of mercy.
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." John 6:37 KJV
Apostle Paul was a killer and persecutor of christian, yet God made him one of the greatest Apostles that ever walked this earth. No matter what your past look like, God will recreate you and bring you out of every belly of fish you have put yourself. Don't allow Satan to write the end-part of your life, don't let your life be a trophy for the kingdom of darkness, God has great things in stock for you, God wants to help you, He wants to save you, He wants you to be in good health and prosperity. Why not cry for help, why not cry unto Him for mercy.
No matter what you have done wrong, if only you will sincerely humble yourself before God and cry for mercy, if only you will cry for help, that affliction will vomit you out in Jesus name.
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord : though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:" Isaiah 1:18-19 KJV
