PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS (PUSH)
PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS (PUSH)
"I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord , give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth." Isaiah 62:6-7 NIV
You that call upon the Lord, do not be silent, give Him no rest until He makes your life a praise on earth. Praying persistently until you receive your miracle is not a sign of faithlessness but a sign that you believe that only God can do it and you are willing to tarry until He answer your prayer. One of the key attribute of answered prayer is PERSISTENCE, you have to persist with faith.
The scripture encourage us to pray and not faint, its says we should give God no rest, its says we should not rest, it says we should pray without ceasing, its says we should persist until our lives becomes a praise for God on earth, until our lives begins to show forth the glory of God, until we become a living testimony of God's faithfulness. Remember the parable of the poor widow and the wicked judge?
“For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’ ” Luke 18:4-5 NIV
Even though the judge was wicked and had no fear of God, he was touched by the persistence of this poor widow and vowed to avenge her and get justice for her. If a man that doesn't care about people and had no fear of God in him can be compelled to help due to the persistence of this widow, how much more our loving God, how much more the Lord that sacrifice His only son for us when we were yet sinners. Jesus told His disciples this parable that we might have faith in God and trust Him to do what we seek.
Persistence and faith work together. Persisting prayer in unbelief is a mere religious act. While tarrying in the place of prayer, we must know and believe that God reward those that seek Him DELIGENTLY.
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrews 11:6 NIV
Beloved, the God Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is still thesame God we serve, He is the same God during the Apostolic age, our God is still the same, if only we can seek him desperately, persistently trusting Him according to His word. In order to get result, we need to PUSH, we need to Pray Until Something Happens.
GOD BLESS YOU.....
