WILLING TO DIE WITH THE WICKED?
"Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived." Judges 16:30 NIV
Samson was born a saviour for his people, to deliver them from the oppression of the Philistine. He was great and mighty filled with power, destroying the army of the Philistine single handedly in ways that are beyond the understanding of men. With all this great victories and exploit of Samson, sadly, he died with the enemies.
Looking at the life of Samson, he entangled himself with the wicked, he has a desire for strange women, he took a wife from the same Philistine he was called to save his people from, he buried himself in ungodliness and unrighteousness, visiting one brothel or the other. Samson, even when full of power and might lost it all on the lap of Delilah, he lost his glory, he lost his power, he lost his might, he lost his eyes and he lost his life. A warrior, a man that destroyed thousands of Philistine with the jawbone of an ass became a laughing stock, he became an circus puppet, to entertain the ungodly, he became a trophy to the enemy, until he was destroyed with the wicked.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 NIV
God has created you wonderfully and given you a purpose, God has placed upon your life a mandate, there great exploits awaiting you, you are born to take the battle to the gates of the enemy, you are a battle axe in the hands of the Lord, arrows in His quiver, to deliver your brethren from the wickedness of the wicked, but the question is, WOULD YOU WANT TO DIE WITH THE WICKED LIKE SAMSON? I believe your answer is no.
Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” 2 Corinthians 6:17 NIV
Look out for the mistake of Samson and take heed, depart from the ways of the wicked, come out from among the wicked and their wickedness, come out from the midst of the scornful, come out from the midst of the ungodly, unwind yourself from the ways and deeds of this world and be separated to God. Although you are in the world, your are not of the world.
This is a wake up call for believers, this is the end time, the perilous time, the dangerous time, X-ray your heart and your walk so you won't be caught unawares by the Lord's second coming like the FIVE FOOLISH VIRGINS. For those still living according to the deeds of the flesh and the customs of the world, here is another opportunity, that you may escape from the wrath to come, that you may escape the everlasting punishment reserved for Satan and his fallen angels, that you may have a place in the kingdom of our God, that you may enjoying everlasting joy and peace with our Lord Jesus when he comes, COME TO JESUS TODAY, HIS HANDS ARE WIDELY OPEN TO RECEIVE YOU. May we not be destroyed with the wicked.
