YE ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD
YE ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD
"If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." John 15:19 KJV
Though you are in this world but you are not of this world. You have been called and chosen out of the world and have been reborn by God. You have being bought with a price, the blood of the Lamb, and have been imparted with the spirit of the living God. YE ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD.
"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." 1 John 5:4 KJV
Do you know that because you are not of this world, you are not a slave to the traditions and principles of this world. You are not under the covenant of this world. Just like the rod of Aaron swallowed up the rod of the magicians, so also the covenant in the blood of Jesus has cancelled every covenant you have in any way been attached to. Though men may slaves to fear, but you have overcome fear because you are not of this world. God has not given you fear but power and love. You are not a slave to fear, you are a child of the living God.
"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." 1 John 4:4 KJV
You are not of this world because you have overcome the world and all that is in it. This is because greater is He that is in you thatn he that is in the world. This is because He that is in you has overcome the world already. He walked upon this earth, spotless and blameless (overcame sin), stamping upon and casting out devils, even overcame death. Because He is in you, you have His victory. Yes! you are more than a conqueror.
"For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live." Romans 8:13 KJV
The issue now is this, you know you are not of this world, ye declare it often, but do your actions carry this revelation? Knowing you are not of this world, do you still let the counsels and dictates of the world govern your actions? Are you still leaving in fear of this world? Do you still give in to the leading of the flesh? Don't you know that those that live after the dictates of the flesh are slaves to the flesh and of this world and cannot live in the victory that Jesus has given.
You are not of this world because the spirit of the living God resides in you, as a guidance, as a teacher, as a revealer, as a leader. In order to live successfully as a conqueror that you are, you have to submit to his leading. It is yielding to the Holy spirit that enables the manifestation of the fruits of the spirit. That is the secret to a successful christian life. Are you still yielding? or have you even gone astray? You can still come back now. It is not too late. The arms of Jesus is still widely open to accept you back.
"Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God." 2 Corinthians 5:20 KJV
You are not of this world because you are an ambassador sent to reconcile men back to God. You are sent as a pilgrim to the earth, as the voice of God calling men unto repentance and to the knowledge of Christ. You are not called to mingle or entangle yourself with the world but to separate yourself from it and call out men from it. Don't be carried away, don't forget your divine calling. Don't let the pressure and struggles of this world distract you from your heavenly goal.
YE ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD! YE ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD! YE ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD! you are a divine being.
