KNOW YOUR ENEMY 1
It is expedient that believers know who their arch enemy is, his weapons of warefare, and how he operate, this will prevent us from being a victim of his wiles and schemes.
Many think it is not necessary to know about Satan, the enemy of mankind, and have seen themselves wallowing everyday in his bondages and afflictions. Many have foresaw spiritual attacks and have been destroyed because they don't know what to do.
'Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.' 2 Corinthians 2:11 KJV
When a believer is ignorant of the devices of Satan, he is easily taken advantage of by him. Such believer continues to rise and fall in affliction and iniquity. Knowing about the wiles and schemes of Satan grants us victory over sin. There are certain times and ways he is most likely to attack a believer, one who is ignorant of these will work and not have a harvest. Such will continue working and watch the reward taken away.
The enmity between man and Satan has been established from the beginning of times, he has since been roaming the earth with his cohorts seeking whom to destroy, we need to be vigilant and have understanding as the sons of Issachar. There are many things that can attract the enemy into a life, no matter what is done, as far as those things still remain, such life continues to be a victim of the enemy.
Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
Luke 14:31-32 KJV
We are continually at war with Satan and his cohorts, he has been and is continually after the destruction of mankind in hell along side him, before a believer can successfully wage war against the oppressing power of the enemy and have dominion, he should be aware of the routes that gives the enemy access into his life, he should know who he is waging war against and how to wage war against him to prevent shadowboxing.
It is very important to know and to learn more about the enemy, knowledge of the devil in itself grants us dominion over him. Knowing the enemy also prevent a believer from walking into his traps. In this series, we will be looking at his fall, his gifts, his operations, his ministry and so on. I pray the Lord gives us revelation that will grant us total victory. Stay tuned.
